Before the holidays have always been associated with food. Like the box of chocolates my mom received every year and would "hide" in the top of her closet and give us just one at a time. We always snuck and got more and she would say who's been in the chocolate. Or hard candy and fruit given to us in our churches holiday baskets. Every member received one and all the kids would compare what candy they got. Now the holidays will mean family and friends and celebrating love and togetherness not the food. Thanks for helping me to see that the memories were not the food and for supporting me in my weight loss journey.+
